About me? I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, a place I love dearly. Every morning when I wake up, I look out my living room window and thank the Good Lord for another day, and for the beautiful views. Millions of people, from hundreds of miles, come to see the same views I treasure daily. I feel blessed.
I’ve been carving since about 1990. One day I saw a fella on the side of the road carving, and I felt in my heart, that’s what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I bought a chainsaw, found some wood, and started carving. I wasn’t too bad for a beginner, but my first pieces didn’t turn out perfect either. It took time to master the trade, and after a lot of trial and error, I am where I am today.
